I mean, people keep saying dried beans are cheap but they never talk about the time cost. I spent like 3 hours on a pot of pinto beans last Tuesday and my electric bill spiked.

Ugh, right? Why is it so clingy? I made popcorn last Tuesday and my couch cushions still faintly smell like fake butter. It got in my hair once and I had to wash it three times. That smell just moves in and refuses to leave.

Yeah, that "sticks around for days" is too real. I once spilled some of that butter flavor oil on my sweatpants. I washed them, hung them outside, even tried febreeze. Wore them a week later and my dog kept sniffing my leg like I was a giant snack. I had to throw them out.
