Shoutout to the dollar store rice cooker that changed my meal prep game

I used to spend like $60 a week on takeout because I was too tired to cook after work... concrete work leaves you beat. Then I grabbed a $12 rice cooker from the dollar store six weeks ago and my grocery bill dropped to $35 a week. I just throw in rice, some frozen veggies, and a can of beans and it does the work for me. The thing is so simple it doesn't even have a timer, you just push a button. I'm honestly mad I didn't try this sooner. Has anyone else found a cheap gadget that actually cut their food costs down?

Yeah but cheap gadgets break in two weeks. @taylorc40 is probably sitting on a pile of busted plastic right now.
