Took me 3 years to realize I was overloading my slow cooker every time

I noticed my stews were always watery and bland no matter how long I cooked them. Turns out filling the pot to the rim prevents proper heat circulation so the liquid never reduces.

Totally did the same thing. Game changer once I figured it out.

Oh man, I gotta disagree here. I tried it and it was a total mess for me, honestly. The whole setup just felt clunky and I spent more time fixing things than actually using it. Maybe I did it wrong or something, but it added more hassle than help. Different strokes, I guess, but I went back to the old way pretty quick.

Wait, does the type of slow cooker matter for this?
