Appreciation post: My hostel in Prague had a free breakfast that saved me so much cash

I was staying at this place called Hostel One Home last year and their breakfast was just bread, spreads, and coffee. I started grabbing an extra piece of fruit or a roll for later. Over a 5 day trip, that probably saved me like $50 on snacks and lunches. Now I always check if a hostel breakfast is included and plan around it. Anyone else have a go-to move for stretching free hotel food?

That Hostel One Home breakfast setup is a classic. Did you ever try to get creative with the spreads to make it feel more like a real meal, like mixing a couple together? I've seen people make peanut butter and jam sandwiches to stash for later.

Stretching free hotel food" used to sound cheap to me, but your math checks out.

True survival move. Leo's sandwich hack is smart, but the real pro tip is pocketing the fruit for later. Saves you buying snacks when you're out.
