Appreciation post: the $8 hostel breakfast in Lisbon that made me quit booking hotel add-ons
So I was splitting a table with this older guy named Ray at my hostel in Lisbon, and he said he never pays for hotel breakfast because the corner cafe two blocks away does coffee and a pastry for 3 euros. It hit different because I'd been tacking on $15 breakfast packages on every booking for no reason. Did the cafe thing the rest of that trip and kept it under $10 a day. Ray, if you're out there, what other add-ons are a straight rip off?
