Booked a flight 6 weeks out instead of 6 days and saved $212 on the same route
Last month I needed to get from Chicago to Denver for my cousin's wedding and I almost waited until the week of like I always do. Ended up booking 6 weeks ahead on a Tuesday morning and the round trip came to $148, when the same flights were showing $360 just days before. I know everyone says this but I never actually tracked it side by side until now. Does the day of the week you book really matter, or is it all just how far out you are?
