Don't buy airport train tickets from the machines in Rome

I lost 15 euros because the machine at Fiumicino sold me a ticket for the wrong train line. The right ticket costs 8 euros from the newsstand inside. Anyone know other airports with this trick?

Ugh, that's just how it goes now! Feels like every system is designed to squeeze out the extra cash from people who don't know the workaround.

Ever try the Trenitalia app? I just buy tickets on my phone now to skip the machines lol.
