Hostels vs. capsule hotels for solo trips, which one actually saves more?
I booked a capsule hotel in Tokyo for 22 bucks a night and it had free lockers, but the hostel in Osaka at 18 bucks included breakfast that filled me up for the whole day. Is the extra quiet and privacy worth paying more, or are hostels still the better deal if you factor in free food?

Man, that's the eternal trade-off isn't it... quiet and privacy always cost more than free pancakes, but you end up spending that difference on coffee and snacks anyway.
