Hot take: that $9 hostel breakfast buffet in Lisbon beat my fancy brunch spot
Booked a hostel in Lisbon for 3 nights last month and almost skipped the $9 breakfast add on. Figured it would be stale rolls and sad coffee. Turned out to be fresh eggs, real cheese, fruit, and endless espresso, and I ate enough to skip lunch both days. Has anyone else had a cheap add on like that turn out way better than the spot they planned to splurge on?
