I finally cracked the code on cheap flights to Boston
People keep booking flights on Tuesdays thinking that's the magic cheap day but I saved $65 by flying out on a Saturday morning instead. Has anyone else noticed that the 'hack' advice online is usually outdated by like 2 years?

Saturday morning flights are legit, I saved sixty bucks flying out on a Sunday a few months ago.

fr tho sixty bucks is sixty bucks, i could buy like three gas station pizzas with that. but then you gotta factor in the pain of waking up at 4am to sit in a terminal full of people who look as miserable as you do. i swear the coffee at the gate tastes extra bitter when you're that tired, like it knows you're only there because you're cheap.

Honestly, the Tuesday thing is a myth at this point. What actually works is checking prices for red-eye flights on random weekdays, not just the standard advice. I snagged a Boston round trip for $89 once by booking a 11pm departure on a Wednesday and then sleeping at a friend's place near Logan instead of a hotel. You just have to be willing to shift your whole schedule around the price, not the other way around. That saved me way more than any Saturday morning flight ever did.
