Just realized I was booking flights all wrong after a chat with a flight attendant
Ran into a flight attendant on my layover in Denver and she told me I should always search for flights on Tuesdays at 3pm local time. She said airlines release their deals early Tuesday morning and by 3pm the algorithms haven't caught up yet. Has anyone else heard this timing trick or is it just airline gossip?

The "clear your cookies" thing is a real tip that works, I always use incognito mode on Chrome when I'm flight shopping to stop prices from going up.

Agree with you on the incognito trick, it's saved me a ton of cash over the years. Honestly it's wild how much airlines jack up prices just from you looking at a flight twice. Solidarity on the cookie clearing, man.

Wait, do airlines actually release their deals on a set schedule like that? I feel like a lot of the "best time to book" stuff is just a myth that keeps getting passed around. Tbh I think the real secret is clearing your cookies and not letting them track you.
