What finally broke you? I'm guessing it was a layover from hell or a hidden fee that cost more than the ticket.

Oh man, a $50 "seat selection fee" for a middle seat in the last row, right next to the bathroom. I mean, I just paid for the ticket, you'd think I get a seat somewhere. Then they wanted another $40 to check my one normal sized bag. I almost just turned around and went home. It feels like they just make up new charges while you're standing there.

Which airline was it? That seat fee sounds like a new low even for budget carriers. They really do just invent costs as you go.
