Lost $120 on a 'too good to be true' tour booking in Lisbon
Found a super cheap day trip to Sintra on a random site, paid $120 for two people with my credit card. The confirmation email came but the pickup never showed, and the company's phone number just rang out. Took me two weeks of disputes to get the money back, and I missed the actual castle because I'd planned the whole day around it. Anyone else get burned by those third-party booking sites that just scrape real tour listings?
