Overheard a guy at the hostel say he books flights on Tuesday nights for 30% less
That one tip from a stranger in Lisbon last month convinced me to stop booking flights on weekends and now I check Tuesday after 8 PM instead, has anyone else noticed a difference with that timing?

Right? Same boat here. I was like no way this actually works and now I'm checking Tuesday prices before any other day. It's just such a nice little win when you see it actually go through.

I don't know, I've been testing this theory for about three months now and I'm honestly not seeing the big savings everyone talks about. I booked a Tuesday flight to visit my sister last month and it was $12 cheaper than the Wednesday option, but then I needed to change it and the fee ate up the difference anyway. Maybe it depends on the route or the time of year, but for me it's just not been this magic bullet people make it out to be. I'd rather just set a price alert and book when the number looks right to me.
