TIL booking flights 3 months out is actually a myth for most routes
I tracked 20 flights to Denver over 4 months and the cheapest prices popped up 2 weeks before departure, not 3 months. Has anyone else found the 'book early' advice totally backfires for domestic trips?

Honestly, I gotta push back on this a bit. I book flights to visit family in Denver twice a year and I've consistently snagged the best deals around the 8 week mark. @michael_coleman10 it's worth trying that window, because last time I waited two weeks out for a trip in March and the price jumped 40 bucks the next day. Ngl, the "book early" advice might not work for every single route but for mine it's been solid.
