Caught myself double paying for subscriptions for 8 months

My credit card statement showed a $9.99 charge from an app I thought I canceled back in January, turns out I'd been paying for two accounts the whole time because I used a different email the second signup. Went through every subscription after that and found three more duplicates totaling about $120 wasted, anyone else ever discover old charges hiding in plain sight?

Digging through my bank statements after reading this and yeah, same thing happened with a meal kit service. I signed up for a free trial with one email, then later used another email for a "new customer" discount and forgot the first one was still active. The sneaky part is the charges look so small, like $12 here and $8 there, you just never notice them mixed in with all the other stuff. Now I go through every single subscription once a month and screenshot each one so I can match it to my statement. Also found an old gym membership that somehow survived a credit card change, that one really hurt.
