I finally realized I was buying way too much coffee creamer every month

Last week I added up my grocery receipts and saw I spent $45 on coffee creamer alone in July. It hit me that I was pouring half a bottle into each cup just to make it sweet enough. Anyone else ever figure out a small daily habit was eating up their budget without noticing?

$45 is wild. That stuff adds up fast when you aren't looking. Bet switching to the big bottle from the store brand would cut that in half easy.

Well I've been there and done that. I started buying the big container of dish soap at the warehouse store and just refill my smaller bottle at home. It costs me about $8 for a gallon and that lasts me close to six months. Also look for coupons online before you buy, most brands have them on their websites and it really cuts the cost down.

Read a study a while back that said most people use way more dish soap than they actually need. Like triple the amount. The bottle says a tiny squirt but everyone dumps a big glob in there. If you cut back on how much you use and buy the big refill jug it really makes a difference. I started doing that and my $45 trips turned into maybe $12 every few months. Also helps to let the sponge soak a bit before scrubbing, gets more use out of less soap.
