My dad swore by buying the cheap off-brand trash bags. Told me for years I was wasting money.
He kept saying 'a bag is a bag' so I finally tried a 50 pack of some no-name brand from the dollar store for $4. They tore on the first grocery haul and I had cans rolling down my driveway. Spent $12 on Glad ForceFlex the next day and my kitchen is finally clean.

Haha yeah I remember reading somewhere that the cheap ones are actually thinner plastic that breaks down faster in landfills or something but like... they also break down in your kitchen way too fast lol. Your dad owes you an apology for those runaway cans.
