Serious question, my grocery bill went from $180 a week to $115 in 6 weeks, what did I actually change?
I started writing every receipt in a notebook on Sunday nights back in March, and by mid April I was down about $65 a week without really trying (mostly I just quit buying stuff I already had two of in the pantry). The weird part is my cart looks almost the same, so I can't tell if it was meal planning or just the notebook making me feel guilty at the register. Has anyone tracked this long enough to know which part actually moves the number, the planning or the writing it down?
