Bought a cheap stencil for my bujo layouts and now I feel silly for hand drawing grids for 2 years
I always figured stencils were for people who wanted their journal to look like a copy machine made it. I liked that my weekly spreads looked a little rough and uneven. That was the point, right? Then my sister gave me a plastic stencil with little boxes and dots on it for my birthday in March. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Last week I was running late for work and I still had to set up my next seven days. I grabbed the stencil out of spite, mostly to prove it would look stiff and boring. It took me 4 minutes instead of the usual 20, and the lines came out straight for once. I still did my own doodles in the corners so it doesn't look like a template. Has anyone else been weirdly stubborn about a tool and then had to eat their words?
