Dropped $67 on a fancy dotted notebook and the dots don't line up with a ruler
Bought a hardcover dot grid book for $67 at a shop in Portland last month. Grabbed my ruler to set up my monthly spread and the dot spacing is off by like a millimeter every few rows, so nothing lines up straight. Feel dumb for not checking before I paid. Anyone got a notebook where the dots actually line up? I just want straight lines again.
This kind of thing happens way more than it should, where you pay more and somehow get less. Same deal with clothes, coffee, furniture, price stops meaning quality once the brand gets popular enough. For notebooks I just check the dots in the store now, flip to a middle page and lay a card edge on it before I buy.
