I finally pushed back on the "no straight lines" rule after a lady at the Phoenix meetup made me redo a whole page
Last month at a bullet journal meetup in Phoenix, a woman running the table looked at my weekly spread and said straight lines make a journal look like a printed planner, so I should always draw freehand. I tried it her way for two weeks and my habit tracker turned into a wobbly mess I couldn't read, so I went back to a small ruler I keep in my pen case. She saw my setup again at the next meetup and made a face, and I just said the ruler keeps my boxes even and that's what I need. Does anyone else use a ruler and not feel bad about it?
