Just realized my bullet journal doesn't need a weekly spread
I was talking to my sister, who's a teacher, and she said she only uses her journal for daily logs and a running future log. She told me, 'The weekly page was just stress I was drawing for myself.' I tried skipping it for a solid week and it actually felt way more flexible. Anyone else ditch a standard layout and find it works better?

I read a blog post by a designer who said she stopped doing weekly spreads after tracking her time for a month. She found she only looked at the weekly page on Sunday night to set it up, and then never again. All her actual tasks and notes went into the daily pages. So she just uses a monthly calendar and then blank pages for each day now. It made her journal feel less like a chore.

Honestly that's kind of a wild thing to track for a month lol. It's just a planner, not a science project. If the weekly spread makes you happy, keep doing it.

Man, I tracked my coffee intake once and got scared of myself.
