My 3 year old bullet journal was saved by a single washi tape roll
Last week I dropped my journal in a puddle outside a coffee shop in Portland. Water seeped through half the pages and I thought everything was ruined. But 3 years ago I started using washi tape to seal the edges of my monthly spreads. The tape created a waterproof barrier on those sections so my key dates and trackers from last month were totally dry. Has anyone else accidentally tested their journal's durability like this?

Washi tape saved my planner too when I spilled coffee all over a week spread. A solid layer on the edges is a simple trick that works way better than you'd think.

Idk, I mean maybe it's just me but I actually ended up hating the washi tape fix. The edges always peeled up after a week or so no matter how hard I pressed them down. I just cut the whole messed up page out and taped in a fresh insert with clear packing tape instead. It's way sturdier and you can barely see it on the other side.

Same thing happened to me last month with smoothie. I just cut out the whole section and taped in a fresh page with washi. Made it look intentional. Did you try patching it or go full replacement?
