My bullet journal index fell apart until a guy at a Detroit office supply store showed me a 3-ring trick
Three weeks ago I was flipping through my journal trying to find a meeting note from July and the index page had turned into a mess of cross-outs. I stopped by a little office supply shop on Woodward in Detroit to grab more washi tape and the older guy behind the counter saw my notebook open on the counter. He said to leave the first two pages blank, then number the rest in the bottom corner with a pencil so I can redo it later. He also said to use a loose binder ring for the index so pages can move around instead of getting glued down. I did it that night and finding stuff is way faster now, but I'm wondering if anyone here keeps a separate index notebook instead of putting it in the front.
