Hitting 18 trucks felt way bigger than hitting 20

I figured 20 rigs was the real mark of making it, but when we hit 18 last August in Phoenix I saw the payroll and insurance numbers and realized we were already past the point where one bad month could sink us. The growth stopped being about adding trucks and started being about who I put behind the wheel. What was the number where your business stopped feeling like a gamble?
