I finally stopped chasing vanity metrics and my pipeline got real
For about 8 months last year I was obsessed with Instagram followers and email open rates. My numbers looked great on paper, but my actual closed deals were flat. Then I ran a simple audit and found that only 3 out of my last 21 clients even came from social media. The rest came from referrals and a niche Facebook group where I answer tax prep questions for realtors. I changed my weekly goal from 'post 5 times' to 'have 3 real conversations with potential referrers.' Last quarter I closed two deals worth $14,000 total from those chats alone. Has anyone else dumped their content calendar and gone back to just talking to people? What did you replace it with?

Yooo, that audit is the real move, most folks never track where leads actually come from!

Ugh, ain't that the truth, same deal with figuring out which friends actually show up when you need them versus just liking your posts.
