Outsourced my bookkeeping to a local firm in St. Louis, any regrets?

I kept doing it myself for 3 years because I hated giving up control, but after missing a tax deadline last spring I finally hired a small local firm. It costs me $350 a month but I got 8 hours back each week and my numbers are actually cleaner now. Has anyone else made the switch and then regretted handing over that much access?

Think $350 a month is steep, but the 8 hours back makes it worth it.
