Replaced my manual invoicing with a $25 spreadsheet template, client payments went from 2 weeks late to 3 days

I used to hand-write invoices in Word and email PDFs. Half the time I forgot to add late fees and the other half clients said they never got the attachment. Six months ago I bought a basic spreadsheet template for $25 that auto-fills everything and sends reminders. Now I don't chase anyone. Anyone else made a small tool swap that fixed a bigger headache than expected?
