Started asking 3 customers a week why they bought, and our ad spend finally made sense
We were burning $2,100 a month on ads with no clue which ones brought real buyers. So I just started calling 3 new customers every week and asking what made them pick us. Turns out 8 of the first 10 came from a Google search for our city name, not the Facebook ads at all. Anyone else ditched the dashboard and just asked people directly?
How did you pick which 3 customers to call each week? I ask because if you're only grabbing the ones who answer their phone or already left a review, you might be getting a skewed batch. Like maybe the Facebook ad crowd just ignores calls but still buys. Did you try mixing it up, some new buyers, some repeat, some who went quiet after one order? Curious if the Google search answer holds up once you talk to the quiet ones too.
