Stop chasing every shiny new growth hack out there
I see so many business owners jumping from TikTok trends to AI tools every month. They burn cash on every new platform. I did the same thing for a year. Spent $3,000 on a Pinterest strategy that got us zero sales. The real growth came when we focused on just one channel and got really good at it. For us it was cold email. We tested 40 subject lines and found one that worked 6 months ago. Now we send 200 targeted emails a week and actually track replies. Has anyone else stopped jumping around and seen better results from narrowing down?

Testing 40+ subject lines sounds painful but that's the kind of grind that actually pays off. Most people give up after five tries and blame the channel instead of their message. Once you lock in that one winning angle it's like printing money compared to hopping to the next shiny thing.

Cold email was the same thing for us. Tested 47 subject lines and landed on one that still pulls a 12% open rate a year later. That kind of focus beats jumping platforms any day.
