Stopped chasing new leads for a month, focused on old clients instead
Our growth was flat, so I paused all cold outreach in March and just called people who bought from us over a year ago. I offered a simple check-in and a 15% discount on a new order. Got 12 repeat orders from that list, which added about $8k in revenue we weren't expecting. Anyone else try shifting focus back to past customers when new sales slow down?

Sounds like a decent month but idk if 8k is that big of a deal. Maybe it's just me but that feels more like a nice bonus than a real strategy.

Yeah, "nice bonus" is about right for my level of strategy, @julia_anderson. My big plan usually stops at not spending it all on takeout. It's a system, just not a very good one.

Honestly, I used to think like @julia_anderson. Then I saw how putting that kind of money straight into savings can actually build something real. It's not just a bonus if you treat it like a real step forward.
