Vent: I used to think a simple website was enough for my small business in Boise.
Three years ago, my site was just a contact page and a few photos, but last month I finally added online booking and saw a 30% jump in new customer inquiries. Has anyone else waited way too long to make a change like that?

That's a good point about timing. But I'm curious about the actual switch. Was there a specific moment that made you pull the trigger? Like, did you get a bunch of emails asking for it, or was it just seeing other local shops offer it? For me, it was losing a Saturday to back-and-forth emails just to set one meeting.

You said you waited "way too long" to add online booking. I actually don't see it that way. Starting simple was the right move for you back then. Adding a feature before you really need it is just extra cost and hassle. That 30% jump proves you added it at exactly the right time, when your business was ready for it. Waiting until you saw the need is smart, not a mistake.

@harpery47, what did you use before the online booking system... just phone calls and email?
