Was totally wrong about spending $300 on a CRM last quarter
I shelled out $300 a month for HubSpot thinking it would magically grow my list, but all it did was confuse me with too many features. A buddy convinced me to try Mailchimp's free tier instead, and honestly my open rates went up because I actually use it. Has anyone else downgraded after a big purchase and seen better results?

Yep. Bought Salesforce once. Barely logged in.

Barely logged in" is basically what I used to say about every big CRM. I thought they were all overpriced junk until a team I worked with actually forced me to use one properly for about six months. That changed my mind completely. The real difference was having clean data and someone who actually set up the automation right, not just buying the license and hoping for the best. I still think they're oversold to small businesses, but I get why they work now.
