Watched a coffee shop on Main Street go from empty to packed in 6 months after they switched to local roasters
The owner told me he was losing money on the national brand beans, then swapped to a roaster three blocks away and his morning rush tripled... anyone else seen a simple supply change flip customer loyalty like that?

@ninas67 I mean the timing's a little off, it was actually closer to 4 months before the crowd showed up.

My tiny bakery did the same thing with local flour, regulars showed up overnight.

Honestly, does it ever feel like the universe just decides to line up for you when you make a genuine change? Tbh, that's awesome to hear. I've seen small bakeries do that here and there, and it's wild how fast word travels when people actually taste the difference. It's like one afternoon someone posts a pic of their croissant, and by morning you got a line down the block. Ngl, that kind of loyalty from regulars is the best feeling.
