Can we talk about how we used to handle client contracts before everything went digital?

I remember printing out a 20-page service agreement for a client in 2012, but now I just send a DocuSign link and have it back in 15 minutes, which makes me wonder if anyone else still keeps a physical copy of every signed deal in a filing cabinet just in case.

Found a faxed contract from 2003 last week.

My old boss had a whole drawer of faxes from that era. I scanned the important ones at 600 dpi like @the_grace said, and it saved a ton of detail. They look way better as PDFs now.

Was it still legible after all these years? Faxes fade so badly over time, I'm surprised you could even read it. That paper must have been tucked away in a perfect spot.
