Shoutout to the clerk at the San Diego county courthouse
I was filing a small claims response last Tuesday and totally messed up the form, left out a page number and everything. The clerk, this older guy named Ray, caught it before I got to the window and showed me how to fix it on the spot. It saved me from getting it bounced back and losing my filing window, which would've cost me the $75 fee and a lot of headaches. Has anyone else had a courthouse employee go out of their way like that, or is it just me?

Ray must be a unicorn in a sea of government paperwork. I once had a clerk hand me a form back with a sticky note that just said "nope" and a red circle. You basically won the courthouse lottery, congrats on not being the guy who loses $75 to a page number like I did last year.
