Spent $650 on a lawyer to look over my first lease and it saved me $4,000
My landlord tried to sneak in a clause making me pay for roof repairs, and the lawyer caught it in about 20 minutes of reading. Skipping that review is the dumbest way to save $650 I can think of, has anyone here ever regretted going cheap on the first contract?
