Appreciation post: A guy at the lumberyard in Boise saw me struggling with a 12-foot slab of maple and just said, 'Kid, your sawhorses are backwards'.

I'd been setting them up wrong for three years, so has anyone else had a basic tool setup epiphany that made you feel a bit silly?

Backwards only works for angled cuts, not straight ones.

Nah, backwards sawhorses actually work better for some cuts lol.
