Guy at the lumber yard in Grand Rapids showed me his drawer bottom setup and it stuck
Was picking up a sheet of 1/4 ply a few months back and the older guy loading next to me noticed I was grabbing it for drawer bottoms. He pulled out his phone and showed me photos of his shop, pointing at how he runs his bottoms in a groove with a little extra play on the sides so they don't rattle when the air gets dry. Said "leave it loose, it'll find its own home" and laughed. I've been cutting my grooves a hair deeper since then and my drawers shut quieter. Anyone else run their bottoms loose like that or do you glue them in tight?
