Had a nightmare day last Thursday with a misaligned hinge jig

Spent 3 hours fighting doors that wouldn't close right on a kitchen set in Brooklyn, finally realized my jig had drifted a quarter inch from all the abuse. Anybody else ever have a tool suddenly go out of whack on them like that?

A quarter inch drift is brutal." I'd be throwing the whole jig in the trash after that.

Was it a brand new jig you'd only used a few times or an old one that's been beat to hell? If it's fresh out of the box drifting a quarter inch, that's a design or manufacturing problem right there. But if it's a worn out piece of junk, that's on you for not replacing it sooner.

Elliot I agree with @the_lee, a quarter inch drift is infuriating especially on a newer jig.
