Hinge template trick I saw at a shop in Nashville

Stopped by a small cabinet shop outside Nashville last Tuesday and noticed they used a scrap plywood jig with a stop block for drilling hinge holes. Simple setup, but it kept every cup at the exact same depth without me measuring twice. Anyone else got a one-off jig that saves them more time than their expensive tools?

Did you grab a picture of that jig? My version of that trick is a piece of tape on my drill bit, and even then I still manage to drill one hole too deep every time.
