Hit 100 drawers built this week and realized I still hate dovetails the same as number one

Somewhere around drawer 75 I thought I'd get faster or at least less annoyed, but nope, still the same tedious process, has anyone else found a jig that actually makes them not miserable?

Nah @lindal13 I actually kinda dig the rhythm of dovetails once you get in a groove.

Wait you've been building cabinets for YEARS and still want to throw the whole drawer? That's wild. I thought the rhythm thing was supposed to kick in after a while. Like muscle memory takes over and it becomes zen mode. I feel bad for you honestly. That's a long time to be hating a joint so bad.

Hate to break it to you but it doesn't get any better. I've been building cabinets for years and dovetails still make me want to throw the whole drawer across the shop. The Leigh jig helps a little but honestly you're just trading one kind of frustration for another.
