Hit 50 custom drawer boxes this week without a single redo
I have been building cabinets solo for about 3 years now. This week I finished up 50 drawer boxes for a kitchen remodel in Bothell and every one fit on the first try. I dont know why that number surprised me but it did. Usually I screw up at least 2 or 3 on the dovetail joints or the measurements. Anyone else find that small milestones like this make you feel like you finally got the hang of things?

Nah, I gotta disagree a little. 50 without a single do-over is impressive no doubt, but I think that pressure to be perfect can actually make you freeze up and make more mistakes later. Sometimes a couple screw ups keep you honest and humble.
