Hit 500 custom drawer boxes this month and Im not celebrating

Everyone keeps telling me 500 units in 28 days is a milestone to be proud of, but honestly it just showed me how much Ive been cutting corners on fitting time. I spent 12 hours last week redoing 14 boxes because my setup was rushed, and that number would have been closer to 350 if I did it right the first time. The real surprise was that my reject rate dropped to 2 percent once I slowed down and remeasured every panel before glue up. Numbers like this make you question whether you're chasing volume or quality, and I think we've all been brainwashed into thinking big counts mean success. Has anyone else had a milestone that actually exposed a problem instead of feeling like a win?
