I finally got a full week of work without a single client change order
It was the first week of April and I was building a big built-in for a living room. Usually, I get at least two or three emails asking for tweaks after the plans are signed. This time, nothing. The client just let me work. I even finished staining a day early because I wasn't waiting on replies. Has anyone else had a run of good, quiet clients lately, or did I just get lucky?

Man, that's the dream right there. My last project had so many change requests I started just calling the client "Revision 7". They wanted the cabinet handles moved half an inch, then back, then asked for a different wood sample after the stain was already drying. A full week of quiet focus sounds like a real vacation.

I've started charging extra for any change after the third one.

Revision 7 needs a hobby, maybe knitting to keep their hands busy. Faith Thomas has the right idea with that three-change limit, because at some point you're just being paid to deal with someone's indecision. I'd have been tempted to "lose" that wood sample until they made up their mind. A week of quiet focus sounds nice, but knowing my luck, Revision 7 would find my email.
