Sourcing FSC-certified oak is like pulling teeth around here

No local suppliers have it, and when they do, you have to wait forever.

All this focus on audit cycles is too much lol. Suppliers know when audits are and can plan ahead. It's not a big crisis every time.

FSC audits happen at set times, so supply can get tight. Asking suppliers about their certification schedule might help you snag some when it's available.

Remember that FSC audits themselves don't usually stop production, @jason_henderson. The tight supply often comes from the batch production cycles that happen around those audit times. Getting on a supplier's list for right after an audit cycle is a solid move.
