Vent: spent 2 hours on a face frame glue-up that had one stile cut 1/16 short
Last Tuesday in my garage in Bakersfield I cut all four stiles for a 42 inch vanity at once and never checked them against each other. The bottom rail sat proud by a hair and I only caught it after the clamps came off and the glue was already hard. Ended up planing the whole frame flush and lost the crisp edge I wanted. How do you guys batch cut rails and stiles without one sneaking short on you?
