Crimper died mid-job on a Friday afternoon at a townhouse complex

I was working on a new build townhouse complex over by the old mill district and my main crimper just locked up solid around 3pm. Could not get it to release or even budge, had to cut the connector off with a dremel right there in the unit. Anyone else have a tool fail at the worst possible time and how did you finish the day?

Yeah I used to cheap out on crimpers but that story just converted me to buying a better brand.

Funny you say that. I learned the hard way too. My first set of crimpers were so cheap they actually bent trying to close a connector. Thought I was just weak for a solid 10 minutes before I realized the tool was the problem. Now I keep the old ones around just to laugh at them. You ever have a tool that just embarrassed you like that?
