Debate time: do you fish your lines through walls or use push rods for everything?

I was on a job in an old house last Tuesday, trying to run a new coax from the basement to a second floor bedroom. First floor went smooth with a fish tape, but I hit a fire block on the second floor and spent 45 minutes drilling and fishing. My partner swears by glow rods for everything, says they save time on tricky runs. What do you all lean toward for those tight vertical runs through old framing?

Nah, fish tape still beats glow rods on long straight pulls.

Glow rods are ALL I use now, way easier on the elbows.
